Ted Haggard

Ted Haggard, once a respected pastor, is now a disgraced one. In November 2006, he was found guilty of homosexual sex, after he had for so long condemned it. He and his leadership visited gay bars and tried to spread their teachings. He saw homosexuality as evil and satanic, which made it an even bigger surprise when he was found out for it. In November 2006, masseur Mike Jones alleged that Haggard had paid him for sex for 3 years, and used crystal meth. Jones told ABC News, "I had to expose the hypocrisy. He is in the position of influence of millions of followers, and he's preaching against gay marriage. But behind everybody's back he's doing what he's preached against."
